“Photography Gupshup® over Coffee with Swapnil” is a social cause initiative, where Photographers from around town are invited for an open discussion and knowledge sharing session with Swapnil over coffee.
A brainchild of Swapnil Agaskar, the need for such a Gupshup rose from the lack of communication and discussion over the topic of Photography. With the explosion of Social Media, sharing photos for likes and appreciation has remained the sole objective. Hardly any group encourages or indulges in a serious discussion or thought sharing over physical meetings. This led to the idea of conducting these Coffee Talks.
This event happens every alternate Saturday at various locations in Mumbai and Thane and is limited to eight to ten participants, on a first-come basis.
During the lockdown, the sessions had shifted online over Zoom, mainly due to the demands of the participants. But with the Covid threat reducing now, Photography Gupshup® is back in full swing, in form of physical meets.
